The AWSA is an independent, non-profit organization that is dedicated to protecting and enhancing Source Water in the Assiniboine River Watershed. Source Water refers to the prevention of pollution and the sound management of factors and activities that (may) threaten water quality and quantity of lakes, reservoirs, rivers, streams and groundwater. The AWSA works with municipal, provincial and federal government agencies along with other non-profit organizations to protect the source waters of the Assiniboine River Watershed.
